This airline tray was influenced by ANA airlines through an explorative study of form using the different mediums of sketching, paper, and foam. With a physical thermoformed prototype along with a rendered interpretation of the dining set, we were able to create a physical understanding of airplane eating space along with a more conceptual interpretation of the project.
Dining on an airplane is commonly viewed negatively, this interpretation is meant to create a more visually relaxed experience. The utensils wide handle is meant to ease the use by passengers of all ages.
