"Participate" is a collection of images printed on ceramic cups dealing with issues of reproductive, immigrant, and water rights. Inspired by recent political events such as the 2016 presidential elections and the Dakota Access Pipeline protests, "Participate" encourages the viewer to "participate in your own deep, slow, truth," in the hopes that reflection and education on important issues can help inspire action.
The cups were made available for purchase at the Hear for All Exhibition where all the proceeds would be donated to each cups respective cause. For reproductive rights we chose Network of Reproductive Options, a non-profit local Oregon organization offering reproductive health support and resources to women and girls.
